Gift Certificate Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to gift certificates issued by Samantha Stickroth Photography.


Certificate Value & Redemption

  • Gift certificates have the dollar value stated on the certificate and may be applied toward the session fee of an eligible photography session.
  • Gift certificates may be used toward standard photography sessions and eligible seasonal or holiday mini sessions.
  • If the selected session fee exceeds the value of the certificate, the remaining balance is due at the time of booking.
  • Gift certificates may not be applied toward studio rental fees, location fees, travel fees, prints, albums, cards, digital products, or other products or add-ons unless specifically stated on the certificate.
  • Gift certificates are valid for one booking and may not be divided among multiple sessions or bookings.
  • Only one gift certificate may be used per booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Booking & Availability

  • Advance booking is required. Gift certificates do not guarantee availability for any particular date, time, location, or seasonal offering.
  • Sessions are subject to Samantha Stickroth Photography's normal availability and booking procedures.
  • The gift certificate must be presented or its certificate number provided when booking.

Expiration

  • Gift certificates are valid through the expiration date printed on the certificate.
  • Gift certificates that have expired are not eligible for redemption or extension unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Bookings made using a gift certificate are subject to Samantha Stickroth Photography's standard cancellation and rescheduling policies.
  • Failure to attend a scheduled session without appropriate notice may result in forfeiture of the gift certificate.
  • If a session is canceled or rescheduled by Samantha Stickroth Photography, the certificate will remain valid for a replacement booking.

Transfer & Cash Value

  • Gift certificates may be gifted or transferred to another person unless specifically designated as non-transferable.
  • Gift certificates may not be redeemed for cash, except where required by applicable law.
  • Gift certificates cannot be used to purchase another gift certificate.

Lost or Stolen Certificates

  • Samantha Stickroth Photography is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorized use of a gift certificate.
  • A replacement may be issued at the photographer's discretion if sufficient records exist to verify the certificate.

Promotions & Discounts

  • Gift certificates may not be combined with other discounts, promotions, special offers, or gift certificates unless expressly permitted by Samantha Stickroth Photography.
  • Gift certificates do not increase in value during promotional periods.

Photography Services

  • Redemption of a gift certificate does not alter Samantha Stickroth Photography's standard session policies, contract terms, model/release requirements, image delivery policies, licensing terms, or other applicable terms governing the selected photography service.
  • The certificate covers only the stated dollar value toward the eligible session fee. Any remaining balance and applicable additional fees are the responsibility of the certificate holder.

Donated & Promotional Certificates

  • Gift certificates donated for charitable raffles, fundraisers, giveaways, or promotional purposes are subject to the same redemption terms stated above unless otherwise specified on the certificate.
  • Donated or promotional certificates have no cash value and may not be exchanged for another prize or monetary compensation.

Changes to Terms

Samantha Stickroth Photography reserves the right to update these terms from time to time. The terms applicable to a particular gift certificate are those in effect when that certificate was issued, except where a change is required by applicable law.
