FAQ
I. how many photos will i receive?
The breakdown below is what you can typically expect depending on the length of our session. However, I do not limit the number of photos I give you. If we end up getting more great shots than expected, you will receive them all! These are your memories, I will never keep great images from my clients.
15 minutes || 15-20 images
30 minutes || 30-50 images
1 hour || 60-100 images
II. when can i expect my photos to be ready?!
No matter the type of session we have, I will ALWAYS send you a sneak peek of 3-4 images within 48-hours of your session. You can expect your full gallery back within 2-weeks.
III. Will i get raw images?
Nope, I never send raw or unedited photos out. Part of the magic that makes a great photo happens in post-production editing, and that is included in my pricing.
IV. Can my fur-babies be part of our family photoshoot?
Absolutely! Fur-babies are welcome at 30-minute and 60-minute sessions. As a mom to two fuppies (forever puppies) and a cat, I get it. They are a huge part of our life and should be included. Let's just make sure we pick a location that is dog-friendly! ◡̈
V. What if my kids are grumpy or not cooperating?
Kids (and adults) are human beings with emotions and sometimes sessions won't go as planned. Someone may be hungry, tired, or just plain grumpy. It happens, and while I can't magically make someone smile or cooperate, I will do my best to make this fun and capture you and your family the best I can in that moment. Sometimes authentic photos are just that-- authentic. I will not reschedule a photoshoot because family members are uncooperative. I can however, recommend you book a 60-minute session if we have small kids or large groups-- as this makes time for things that may not go as planned, such as diaper changes, snacks, or for regulating nervous systems. :)
VI. what if it rains, or we have terrible weather?
Luckily, we live in beautiful Arizona where we have great weather (most of the time). In the off chance we have a rainy day or just terrible weather, we will play it by ear often close to the time of your shoot. I love the moodiness that rain gives photos, especially during couple/engagement shoots. Ultimately, bracing the rain is up to you. If worse comes to worst, we can reschedule.
VII. I don't want my kids faces on social media, can you accomodate this?
Absolutely. As a mom, I totally understand. On the inquiry form, there is a place to request this. We have a few options:
1. I can blur faces out so identity is protected when photos are posted on social media. In addition to this we can also remember to grab some faceless shots if you would like to share but have anonymity when it comes to the kids.
2. You can opt-out completely from having minors posted to my social media.
VIII. Do you use AI?
Every photograph is thoughtfully edited by me by hand, with care given to color, light, emotion, and the feeling of the moment. My editing process is rooted in preserving the authenticity of your story, not creating something artificial.
I may use occasional AI-assisted tools that are built into professional editing programs such as Lightroom or Photoshop for small, practical tasks (such as efficiency improvements, minor cleanup, or workflow assistance), but these tools do not replace my artistic judgment or the care I put into each image.
